Children's First Resource Centre
Did you know that if you run a playgroup, nusery or other childcare setting you can borrow a wide range of resources for children through your local Children's Centre to support your work with children?
Resources vary with storysacks, treasure baskets, after school fun packs most include dressing up, games, books, photographs, small world, puppets and IT equipment.
The Children First Resource Centre is available to everyone who delivers Childcare and Education in Lancashire. The equipment range is massive, there are after all over 3500 nurseries, Childminders, pre-schools, primary schools and toddler groups in Lancashire.
Pear Tree Children's Centre is a drop off point for this service every seven weeks, so you can enjoy the equipment, bring it back and collect your next order during the next open time:

Sure Start Early Years and Childcare Resource Library uses Pear Tree Children's Centre as a 'drop off' point, for the resource boxes, in the Kirkham, Wesham, Freckleton and Warton area.

Childminders £10 plus VAT
All sessional care setting types £20 plus VAT
All full day care £30 plus VAT
School with under 50 participating students £50
School with over 50 participating students £75
Non LEA schools please add VAT
All establishments with LCC accounts can be billed by internal invoice, please make sure we know if you require this kind of invoice on your application for membership.
